Over the many years, I believe the staff has made this historic 9 holer playable. The lack of electric cart paths .....over time....continue to totally ruin the fairways, and this is a constant struggle. It should be a waking course only. The introduction of "Foot Golf" (kicking soccer balls to these gigantic holes) only adds to the chaos known as City Park Golf course.

After many years of decline and neglect, this classic Thomas Bendelow gem is witnessing a renaissance due to the efforts of Mr. Jack Terry and pro Danny Simmineaux. Many problems have been addressed with regard to drainage, and the greens rival ANY course in the area. Quite simply, the course is again very playable....fairways are lush. If you haven't played City Park recently....Take another look!
